From returns and parcel packing to sending luggage ahead of your trip, here are a few simple tips to help make things easier, safer and more convenient.

1. Pack returns securely

If you are returning an item, make sure it is packed properly to help prevent damage in transit. Use the original packaging where possible, or a strong alternative if the original box is no longer suitable. Seal the parcel well and make sure the item is protected inside.

3. Check your label before sending

Always check that your label is correct, readable and attached properly. If a label is blurry, damaged, loose or placed over a seam, it may not scan correctly.

5. Don’t leave returns until the last minute

Return windows can close faster than expected, especially if you are travelling, busy or waiting for multiple items to arrive. Leaving returns too late can mean missing the retailer’s deadline.

7. Include your full name on incoming deliveries

Fragile items need extra protection. Bubble wrap, padding and a sturdy outer box can help reduce the risk of damage in transit.

Tip: If the contents can move around inside the parcel, it usually needs more padding.

8. Check parcel size and weight before sending

Couriers often have size and weight limits, especially for returns and international shipments. Sending something over the allowed limit can result in delays, extra charges or rejection.
